Hybrid Deckbuilder SolForge Fusion Makes Its Way To Steam Early Access
Tabletop goes digital.
The tabletop gaming world goes digital today as Solforge Fusion hits Early Access on Steam. Solforge Fusion is a hybrid deckbuilding card game that lets you tackle the single-player roguelite campaign, or take part in casual and competitive PvP dueling.
In Solforge Fusion, players collect algorithmically randomized half-decks, then combine them with one other half-deck to create a powerful combination of abilities. The algorithm ensures that each half-deck is one-of-a-kind. The game was created by Justin Gary who created one of my favorite deckbuilders, Ascension, and Richard Garfield, whose name you might recognize from Magic: The Gathering.
You can even incorporate the physical decks you've collected by scanning their unique QR code into Solforge Fusion, thus giving you access to decks you have IRL.
You can download and try the SolForge Fusion demo for free, or purchase the game on Steam at the current sale price of $14.99.
