Hunt: Showdown 1896’s Update 2.3 Kicks Off The Game’s First Event Of The Year
The Brujas and Welders bring their own skills to fight against the Corruption.
Today, Crytek announced an upcoming Hunt: Showdown 1896 event. The extraction shooter’s first event of 2025, The Garden of the Witch brings Corrupted metal and cursed nature together in a clash as the Bruja duo and Welders each work to fight against the Corruption. The question is whether organic mysticism or industrial occult practices and fire will win out.
During this event, players will be able to earn points and pledge marks, but things will be a little different. This time, rather than pledging to a Pact or Troupe, players will receive Sealed Trait Rewards selected from previous events. There will also be a series of Traits exclusive to the Garden of the Witch.
In addition to the new event, Hunt: Showdown 1896 also received a series of changes in Update 2.3. These include things like adjustments to stealth mechanics, a revamp of recruitment, and more.
