Hunt: Showdown 1896 Teams Up With Post Malone On The Murder Circus Event
It seems he’s a pretty big fan of the game.
Today, Hunt: Showdown 1896 announced its “biggest event yet”, a collaboration with Post Malone. Titled Post Malone’s Murder Circus, the collaboration brings both music and supernatural horror to the extraction shooter. During the event, Post Malone will fill the role of the “lord of the circus” leading his twisted crew who are all part of a former traveling carnival that has been transformed by a mysterious artifact.
Post Maline’s character, the former Ringmaster, was driven out of the Circus by the artifact’s power and now seeks revenge, tracking it and attempting to tear it down every time it appears.
The Murder Circus introduces a new Monster to Hunt in the form of what used to be orphan bear cubs. (It seems a lot of things aren’t what they used to be in this update.) The cubs have become a beast known as Ursa Mortis which stalks the Circus grounds.
As you’d expect from a collaboration of this type, player can look forward to several new goodies. Among them are themed hunter skins, weapons variants, and more.
