"Holiday Awakening" Brings Western Lost Ark Balance Changes, Multiple Events, And The Pet Ability System
Those character balance changes have been eagerly awaited by players.
We've already covered some of the smaller items coming to Lost Ark tomorrow, November 27th, as the MMORPG opted to delay the release of their roadmap until after LOA ON. In today's "Patch Notes with Henry" video, the new pet improvements, Bee event, and all the additions get a bit more detail.
The "Holiday Awakening" update also drops raid balance changes as raids see some HP reductions for certain bosses, and there's character balance passes previously released in Korea on their way. Players have been waiting on that one for a bit, so that's good to hear.
The Pet Ability System makes its way west allowing you to train your pets in abilities coming in three different rarities: Rare, Epic, and Legendary. These abilities net you specific benefits when pets are stationed at the Security Division. The patch notes explain exactly how the entire process of training works so you don't go in blind.
If you're looking for progression, make sure to check out the two new progression events. The Voldis Powerpass and Hyper Awakening Road event can be activated on characters to boost their way to 1640 Item Levels and help you play catch up.
Toto's Ice Castle is back and will be available until February's update. Transform into a Mokoko and try to use abilities to break snowflakes. Careful, the icy floor will be falling out from under you in the new minigame. You can hit up the special event every even hour (2 PM, 4 PM , etc), once per day.
The full notes, including all the class balance changes you'll want to review, can be read on the Lost Ark site. Make sure to check them as almost every class has received updates.
