Hi-Rez Reveals Paladins Gameplay Footage
The team based shooter is on the rise and Hi-Rez Studios is looking to get in on that piece of the pie. We've known about Paladins, their upcoming free to play game, since Gamescom but you probably didn't get much of a look at any gameplay unless you were at the event.
For those of you that are curious, Hi-Rez Studios has released a video today that does feature a fair bit of gameplay. While it isn't the focus of the video, players can use the video to get a bit of an idea about what to expect visually and animation wise. I've got to say though, while we speculated on the Free to Play Cast that games like Paladins and Overwatch were getting ready to flood the market...to me Paladins looks way too similar to Overwatch in style and execution. That's only based on a few minutes of gameplay though so maybe things will change. Hopefully, Hi-Rez's card system will create a bit more unique experience as well.
