Hi-Rez Is Doing A Brawler: Divine Knockout Sending Alpha Invites For Chibi-esque SMITE Universe Fighter
Subsidiary Red Beard Games has been working on an adorable game titled Divine Knockout.
Fans of brawler games are not short of things to play lately. Not only do they have long-standing offerings like the Smash series or titles like Brawlhalla, they also have titles featuring pop icons – as is the case with MultiVersus. It seems, however, that Hi-Rez subsidiary Red Beard Games feels fans of the genre could use at least one more option, and…well…options are good.
Enter Divine Knockout. Also referred to as DKO by the developers, Divine Knockout is a very cute third-person physics brawler set in the (chibi-esque) universe of Smite. The game was first announced in early June when they revealed the game’s trailer, some gameplay, and announced signups for Alpha testing.
Now, Red Beard Games is sending out Alpha keys to those who have signed up. The good news, for those interested in the game, is that signups are still open. Those who want to get into Alpha can sign up on the game’s site.
