Hi-Rez Changes Showcase And SWC Schedule
Mark your calendars if you don’t want to miss it.
If you’re planning on watching the 2022 Hi-Rez Showcase and its related events, you’re going to want to make some tweaks to your schedule. Some of you may have already gotten the memo on this, but we think there’s a pretty good chance that others missed it. With the event just around the corner, now seems like a good idea to let everyone know – or remind them, whatever the case may be.
Hi-Rez has moved the schedule up just a smidge, planning to kick off the Showcase on January 5, rather than January 6, so if you’re wanting to catch the panels, cosplay, and keynote, you’ll want to tune in then. As a result, other parts of the event have been moved up as well. The Rouge Company Invitational is scheduled for January 4 with Grand Finals on January 5. January 6 is now “Throwback Thursday” – a celebration of Smite World Championship history. As for the SWC itself, it will go on as planned with Quarterfinals on January 7, Semifinals on January 8, and Grand Finals on January 9.
This seems like good news for anyone who was hoping to catch as many of the events as possible since it spreads things out a bit more.
