Hi-Rez Announces Smite Masters Of Slash Content Creator Tournament
Streamers and their communities will take on the new Slash map for a chance at in-game rewards.
Here’s something fun for Smite content creators and their communities. Today, Hi-Rez announced the Masters of Slash Content Creator Tournament. The company invited every Smite content creator on Twitch to participate and bring along four of their community friends to make up their teams. These teams will participate in up to six rounds of a Swiss-style tournament, earning points for every match win. At the end of the event, the team with the most points will win the event and the prizes that go with it.
The event will be divided between North America and Europe, with players in each region competing for a share of more than 12,000 gems and 45 gifted subscriptions. Oh yes, and the streamer who wins will receive codes to give to their community.
The tournaments will take place on February 26, beginning at 6:00 am Pacific time (3:00 pm CET) and February 27, at 10:00 am Pacific time (7:00 pm CET). The first day will be the European tournaments and the second will be for North America. Details on which community streamers have agreed to participate can be found on the Smite site. The list will likely change some between now and the tournaments.
