Mounts, baby...and probably a few server issues...fingers crossed.
New World’s "Rise of the Angry Earth" expansion launches today…but when exactly?
The MMORPG's expansion will be available for purchase and download at 9 AM PDT (12 PM EDT). There are two options for acquiring it: players who already own the base game can purchase the expansion separately for $30, while newcomers can get the New World Elysian Edition bundle, including both the base game and the expansion, priced at $70. (No discount, it seems.)
Note, though, that a full client download is required here...
📢Public Service Announcement📢
The Rise of the Angry Earth expansion update will require a full client download. Keep that in mind for when you're planning to hop in and explore the new update. See you in Aeternum!

Rise of the Angry Earth transforms the First Light zone into a dangerous, overgrown environment. Players will confront Artemis, the mastermind behind the Angry Earth and the awakening of the Beast Lords. The expansion also raises the level cap to 65 and the gear score cap to 700, and adds the Flail weapon — designed for tanking and healing, as well as mounts. Additionally, players can embark on the Savage Divide Expedition and transform into beasts with a new Heartrune skill.
Besides new content, the update removes wards and banes, reworks perks, adjustments trade skills, to trade skills, and omits Umbral Shards for gear upgrades.
Here's what you need to know to prepare for tomorrow's 9 AM PT launch of New World: Rise of the Angry Earth.
