Here's What You Need To Know About The Deceive Inc. Private Lobby Beta Update
Besides lobbies that support up to 12 players, the patch fixes various issues too.
The "Private Lobby Beta" update is approaching.
This patch allows players with the Steam version of Deceive Inc. to host private lobbies. Up to 12 players are supported, and there’s options to play in solo, duo, or trio modes. Server region is also a choice, plus the ability to manually select teams or randomize them and select the operation of your choice. However, in private lobbies, experience gains are limited to 50% of normal XP, and certain in-game items like Bonds and Credits purse won't spawn. XP boosters are consumed in private lobbies too, although that may change in the full release.
The shooter's update addresses various known issues within the private lobby system as well, such as missing audio feedback, issues with the play button, team selection dropdown menu, and leader icons. Additionally, the shop system has been reworked to remove time-based rotations, allowing players access to all shop items at any time. Some tweaks have been made to the Cover Swap VFX for smoother gameplay, and there are balance adjustments for the agent Larcin, the weapon Cadence, and the Umbrella Shield gadget.
