Here We Go Again, Final Fantasy XIV’s Rising Event And The Moogle Treasure Trove Are Just Days Away
And you know what that means, Patch 6.5 isn’t far behind.
On August 27, both The Rising and the Moogle Treasure Trove events will kick off again in Final Fantasy XIV, meaning we have about a month until Patch 6.5 drops in the MMORPG. Actually, probably a bit over a month this time, as Yoshi-P gave us an “Early October” timeline during the keynote at the Final Fantasy Festival in Las Vegas. So… At a guess… 6.5 will probably hit on October 3.
That extra time is a good thing though, because this 10th Anniversary Treasure Trove Event has a lot of goodies for players to pick up. There are nearly 60 items available, including six minions, five emotes, and 10 mounts. Seven of these mounts are the Kamuy mounts and there’s even a Gwiber to be had.
Of course, all those extra items mean we’re going to need even more tomes. The good news here is that there are also a lot more objectives to choose from and they’re rewarding more tomes per objective.
The other event kicking off the same day is The Rising event. As expected, players will be able to find the initiating quest in Ul’dah. Just look for Kipih Jakkya. Players need to have a level 15 job to participate – which isn’t terrible difficult at this point. Rewards for this event include a new poster, two orchestrion scrolls, and a pretty new mount – the Rising Phoenix.
