Help Out Three Of The Four Horsemen In RuneScape's Halloween Event
In this year's RuneScape Halloween event, players are being recruited by Death, Famine, Pestilence, and... Muncher(?) to ensure a fun holiday. Honestly, it seems a little out of their normal focus, but I supposed even the Horsemen want to have fun every now and again.
If players do a good job, Death will reward them with stylish items from his very own wardrobe. This includes his hood and ceremonial scythe. It looks like players may even get Mucher as a pet, as the announcement states they'll be able to take him "for walkies all over Gielinor". To round things out, they've even decorated Draynor Manor and Death's personal office for the season. The event begins today and runs through November 8.
The Halloween content is part of a bigger update that mostly consists of upgrades to already existing content, hotfixes, and general changes. Patch notes are available here.
Oh! And just a heads-up. Players can expect a Double XP Live event soon -- November 6 to be exact. The event will run for 10 days, until the 16, during which time players can use up 48 hours of Double XP time. During the event, players will also receive 20% extra XP in all available skills.
