Help Digital Extremes Fund Cancer Research Throughout October
They’re hoping to beat the $100,000 total from last year.
It’s breast cancer awareness month again, and for the second year in a row Digital Extremes is endeavoring to help raise funds for The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, one of the top five cancer research centers in the world, located in Toronto, Ontario. Last year, with the help of Warframe fans, DE raised over $100,000 CAD to aid in breast cancer research; this year, they’d like to beat that.
To achieve this, Digital Extremes will be working with Warframe streamers on Twitch in October on a fundraising campaign. Throughout the month, fans can tune in to participating Warframe streams and donating either through the Donor Drive extension or directly to the Quest to Conquer Cancer page. Warframe’s official Twitch account will be using the extension, but each community streamer will be deciding for themselves whether or not to use it on their channel.
In addition to raising funds via streams, Digital Extremes will also be selling a new limited line of pink-themed charity merch, This includes a t-shirt, an enamel pin, and a Conquera Kuaka Floof Plush. Those who purchase the plush or the collection will also receive a digital version of the plush in-game.
