Hearthstone's Lead Narrative Designer Departs Blizzard
Hearthstone is losing a key member of its development team. Lead Narrative Designer Dave Kosak, who has been with Blizzard for 12 years, announced on Twitter that he's leaving the company, to take on "an important role" at Deviation Games.
Most of his time at Blizzard was spent working on World of Warcraft, transitioning over to become one of the most visible members of the Hearthstone team after Game Director Ben Brode left the company in 2018. He's served as the front man for all kinds of presentations and goofy videos (like this one and this one, and my personal favorite, below), meaning that Blizzard will need to find someone else willing to look silly in front of a camera. I'm available, BTW.
