Hearthstone’s Next Expansion — Festival of Legends — Launches This April
The next big update adds 145 new cards and two new keywords: Finale and Overheal.
There's nothing better than live music. And Hearthstone. So the greatest musicians from all over Azeroth are coming together for the game’s next expansion: Festival of Legends.
The next big update is coming to the card game this April, courtesy of Elite Tauren Chieftain (E.T.C.), and it will add 145 new cards to Blizzard's free-to-play digital card game. Also, every class is getting a Legendary minion card in accordance with their chosen rockstar, and each gets a Legendary spell card too for the musician’s hit song.
Two new keywords are debuting as well. Finale is a special bonus for spending all of your remaining mana to play the card, and Overheal is a special effect for Priest Minions that heal above their max. This will be an evergreen addition to their class identity, starting with Festival of Legends and Core sets.
There’s also Instrument Weapons, Harmonic Spells, and Soloists. Check out some of the new cards already revealed here.
Note: Activision Blizzard is still under investigation by the state of California for serious harassment charges. CEO Bobby Kotick is alleged to have known about such actions within his company – and performed some himself – and shielded the perpetrators from consequences.
