Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 8 Is A Stop At The Souvenir Shop
Trinkets & Travel introduces a new Hero: Marin the Manager.
On August 20, Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 8 begins. In keeping with the tropical vacation theme, this season, titled Trinkets and Travels, directs players of the CCG to the souvenir shop where they will meet the game’s latest hero, Marin the Manager.
The season introduces the new Trinkets mechanic. Trinkets are passive power-ups offered twice per game, that can be bought with gold and used throughout the game. There are over 100 Trinkets being introduced to the game and their costs are influenced by a variety of factors, including the Hero. That’s one reason to choose Marin the Manager as your Hero. He offers a chance to buy an extra Trinket a turn early.
Between now and the Season launch, Blizzard will reveal more about what to expect from Season 8. A schedule of planned reveals is available on the Hearthstone site.
