Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 10 Brings Trinkets Back
“Second Nature” adds two new heroes and refreshes minions.
When Blizzard releases Hearthstone Season 10 on April 29, it will bring back the special passive power-ups known as Trinkets. These trinkets are bought with Gold during matches and can be used for the duration of the card game. They come in two varieties: Lesser Trinkets and Greater Trinkets. The first type is bought on turn 6, while the latter is bought on turn 9. Players should note that the trinkets have been changed up a bit for this season so that players will most frequently get them for their most common minion type.
In addition to the return of Trinkets, the new season brings new heroes: Forest Lord Cenarius and Buttons. Cenarius increases gold reserves while Buttons allows players to pick out an extra Greater Trinket.
Second Nature also introduces a minion refresh with more than 75 new and returning minions and Tavern spells. The update also includes a related quality-of-life improvement, new minion frames that will help players determine which minion corresponds with which class. More details are available on the Hearthstone site.
