Hearthstone 26.0 Patch Notes Details New Expansion, New Signature Cards, And More For Tomorrow's Launch
Patch 26.0 paves the way for the Festival of Legends expansion.
Hearthstone's patch 26.0 launches tomorrow, April 4th, bringing with it card balance updates, the end of the current Duels seasons, and plenty of bug fixes. But perhaps more importantly is that it sets the stage for the April 11th release of the Festival of Legends expansion.
Festival of Legends will bring 145 new cards and features the "Finale" keyword. You can check out all the new cards coming with Festival of Legends in the Hearthstone card library.
Along with the launch of Festival of Legends comes the new Standard rotation. Rotating out of Standard will be Forged in the Barrens, United in Stormwind, and Fractured in Alterac Valley. Rotating into Standard will be Voyage to the Sunken City, Murder at Castle Narthria, March of the Lich King, Path of Arthas, Festival of Legends, and the free Core set.
From April 18th through May 2nd players can take part in the Legends Take The Stage special event. Complete Event Quests to earn Event XP on a special Event Track.
Finally, Signature Cards are getting a revamp for Hearthstone's Festival of Legends. They will now focus more on the art of the card with thinner borders and card text now being moved to the tooltip.

Note: Activision Blizzard has had charges filed against them by the state of California for serious harassment allegations. CEO Bobby Kotick is alleged to have known about such actions within his company and in many employees' eyes failed to take adequate action. These allegations have all been denied by Activision Blizzard and the company points to additional diversity and inclusion training as past examples of taking the accusations seriously at the time they were made.
