"All Hands On Deck" This Weekend As World of Warships Offers Prizes Based On How Many Captains Log In
Wargaming wants as many people as possible to log into World of Warships this weekend, setting a goal of 20,000 simultaneous logins. It's sort of like those stunts people used to do to see how many people they could jam into a phone booth, car, or even an outhouse, only this is on a ship. A virtual ship.
The time to jam the North American servers is from 7 a.m. Pacific Saturday morning to 7 a.m. Pacific Sunday morning, though Wargaming recommends captains log in between the peak times of 4:30 to 10:30 p.m. (There doesn't seem to be a similar event for EU or Asian servers.) Prizes will be awarded to all participating players for reaching milestones of 16,000, 18,000, and 20,000 players, and other prizes will be given out individually for various achievements in battle, such as dealing the most damage via fire or main battery hits.
