Halo Infinite Drops On December 8
You can preorder special edition Xbox and controller.
Halo Infinite may not have all the features gamers want, but it does have something that everyone wants: a launch date: December 8, 2021.
343 Industries announced the date at Gamescom, while also announcing the Halo Infinite Limited Edition Bundle for Xbox Series X and the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 – Halo Infinite Limited Edition. The Limited Edition ($549.99) comes with a console that's "imprinted with stars as seen from the surface of the Zeta Halo, a Cortana blue vent, and iridium gold accents around dark metallic paneling," while the controller ($199.99) sports a "battle-scarred Mjolnir-themed design." Both will be available on the same date that the original Halo: Combat Evolved launched: November 15.
Even if it's going to be short some features, this new generation of Halo is sure to be a big hit, with its new campaign and free-to-play multiplayer. Let's just hope it doesn't suffer further delays -- or removes more content to make that launch date.
Halo Infinite will launch for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows 10 for PC, and Xbox Cloud Gaming. Learn more about the launch on the Halo website.
