Halo Infinite Winter Contingency III Now Live, Featuring A New Operation Pass And Festive Theme
You have a little over a month to enjoy the holidays on the battlefield.
Winter Contingency III has arrived in Halo Infinite, bringing a festive atmosphere to the battlefield.
From now until January 30, players can participate in the new operation featuring 20 tiers of free holiday-themed customization rewards. The Winter Contingency III Operation Pass offers new armor pieces, coatings, nameplates, and emblems — featuring the Santa-inspired Winterknight helmet.
Similar to the Combined Arms Operation, players can opt for premium upgrades with the purchase of the Operation Pass. Spending 500 credits unlocks an exclusive bonus customization item, durability for the pass, bonus XP, and an extra Challenge slot. Alternatively, spending 2,000 credits unlocks all 20 tiers and includes the exclusive Ice Fissure armor coating.
In addition to the Operation Pass, a Santa's Little Helper bundle is available in the Halo Infinite shop, featuring weapon models, coatings, armor effects, kill effects, and more. Completing challenges during the event allows players to unlock the Ultimate Reward, the Sui Generis Snowflake weapon charm.
Additionally, Firefight: Legendary King of the Hill is now live in the shooter — challenging players to battle waves of Banished enemies. Match XP and Career Rank payouts have been adjusted for Heroic and Legendary difficulties in Firefight too. Furthermore, the Combat Workshop playlist introduces an updated networking model for Squad Battle, encouraging players to provide feedback on the new online experience.
