You might recognize some of these new maps.
8v8 Squad mode in Halo Infinite is getting some new, yet familiar, maps added to its rotation. The upcoming batch of new maps should be a walk down memory lane for many longtime Halo players.
Perdition is being added to Slayer, King of the Hill, and Landgrab game modes, and first appeared in Halo 4's Castle Map Pack. Refuge is a versatile map that will host Slayer, King of the Hill, and One Flag capture the flag. Timberland Evolved makes its third appearance in the shooter's franchise.
In total, seven new maps have been introduced, each hosting multiple game modes within the 8v8 game structure and all harkening back to times of old in the Halo franchise. If you've been a lifelong player of Halo, then these maps should be a big nostalgia hit for you.
