Guild Wars 2 Will Host A World Vs. World Restructuring Beta Beginning This Month
The WvW revamp is well on its way.
The World vs. World restructuring is still underway in Guild Wars 2, with a restructuring beta set to kick off on January 12th and run through February 2nd, beginning and ending at your region's normal WvW reset time.

During this beta, the MMORPG's team will be testing out some specifics of the new system including the latest iteration of the team-building algorithm, a "same-team" reset, a "team-building" reset, and lots of bug fixes and polish.
Take note that you'll need to select which guild you want to WvW within the Guild Wars 2 Guild Panel. Simply go to the Guild Panel and select the appropriate guild as your "WvW Guild". You'll need to have your WvW guild set by 11:59 PST on Thursday, January 11th for the first phase of the test.
