Guild Wars 2 Devs Answer Your Questions About The Upcoming Homesteading Feature
Find out how to get your homestead and turn it into a home.
When Guild Wars 2’s Janthir Wilds update drops, it’ll introduce a shiny new Homestead feature to the MMORPG. To help players get started with their new homes, the devs have shared a post answering the most important questions – things like how one goes about getting and accessing their homestead, how to visit a homestead, and what players can unlock.
Guild Wars 2 homesteading isn’t just a housing option – although you do get a house you can upgrade and decorate over time. It’s also a place where players will produce things via a lumber mill, mining, and farming. There are even hungry cats to feed.
While the post answers quite a few questions about the new system, players will probably be happy to know that the devs will be hosting a livestream showing off homesteading on August 2 at noon Pacific. In the meantime, the post can be read on the Guild Wars 2 site.
