Magerealm

If you're looking for a free-to-play ARPG to play in your browser, there aren't too many options out there. GTArcade and Youzu Interactive look to change that, with the addition of Magerealm, which will enter closed beta on June 4.

The teaser site for Magerealm has a few snippets of information: a preview of two of the four classes (realmguard and spellcaster) and a short list of features, which hit upon all the usual bullet points, such as powerful skills, challenging dungeons, and lots and lots of loot. It is an ARPG, after all.

What's that? You don't just want hack-slash-loot-repeat? Well, we've got some lore for you, too:

As an elite Mage sent by the Council of Magic to look for the 7 legendary relics to save the world and defeat the evil Lord of Demons, players are drawn into an epic war for the control of ancient relics. Along the way, you will discover secrets, encounter enemies and find allies when you least expect it.

Yes, this is the same Youzu/GTArcade that makes League of Angels; take that for what it's worth. Still, does Magerealm sound like something you'll be checking out?

Erm i don't see any gameplay videos yet so this means nothing. The only thing i got from this is that they have excess money to spend on website graphics and advertising.
