Grab A Free Mount And More As Part Of The Lord Of The Rings Online's Apology For 64-Bit Issues
It's one per account, so make sure to claim them on the character you want to own the goodies.
Look, the whole migration to 64-bit servers for The Lord of the Rings Online hasn't been one of the smoothest transitions in the world of F2P MMORPGs. Even after the recent round of transfers had issues for a few weeks, the team wasn't giving up and was adding more options with a new EU 64-bit server last week and another US server coming soon.
The business side of things still isn't quite done as Standing Stone Games plans to open up transfers from previously-closed worlds and enable a weekly rotating transfer system. Of course, the aforementioned new US server is still coming, too.
However, as a way of apologizing to players, LOTRO has dished out a rewards code that can be used by any players until May 18th. Head to the in-game store and use the code "THANKYOU2025" to claim a number of rewards. You can only claim this gift on one character, so choose carefully.
Your rewards bundle nets you the choice of a mount thanks to a "Pick-a-Mount" box. You'll also snag 50 Mithril Coins, 2500 Virtue XP by way of Lesser Virtue Potions, 20 Universal Ingredient Packs, and 5 Black Steel Keys.
If you want to get a look at the mounts you can choose from, there's a full list on the Wiki's Pick-a-Mount page.
