Go On A Vacation To A Different Class In Hearthstone’s Perils In Paradise Expansion
Visit Marin’s new resort.
What happens when a pirate decides to open up a summer resort? Hearthstone's Perils in Paradise expansion, that’s what. The new expansion launches on July 23 and will introduce 145 new cards to the CCG. Some of these cards are “Tourist” cards, which allow characters associated with a specific class to vacation as another class during deckbuilding. Mostly this means that players will be able to create decks based on one class while adding cards from the class they’re visiting to it as well. The catch is that each class can only visit one other class so players can’t get TOO crazy with their decks.
The update also introduces six new drink spells, each with two free refills, as well as six destination cards. In keeping with the theme of the expansion, the destinations are things like hiking trails.
To get things rolling, players will receive a new Legendary minion, Marin the Manager, for logging in starting today. Everything else you’ll have to wait for – and of course, you'll have to buy the expansion. Preorders are available now.
