Go Planetside In EVE Vanguard's First Strike Playtest With Plenty Of Adjustments And Fixes
The EVE Vanguard First Strike Playtest Kicks Off This Week
Itching for a little FPS action in the EVE Universe? The First Strike playtest for EVE Vanguard kicks off this week with planetside solo and squad play.
It all begins on January 25th and runs through the 29th. The EVE Vanguard playtest is open to all Omega players as part of the Founder's Access. The game is still very much a work in progress, but this playtest brings with it lots of fixes and improvements following the December playtest.
Be aware that if you do jump into the game there's a hitch in uninstalling the client after the playtest is finished, but you can check out this help center article which outlines a method for removing EVE Vanguard-related files from your PC without affecting your EVE Online install.
There are plenty of rewards available for playing in the EVE Vanguard playtest, including ship skins and PLEX. There's even a leaderboard for the number of contracts completed during the playtest.
If you don't already have Founder's Access, you can get 14 days of Omega time for $9.99 in the EVE store, or 250 PLEX in the NES which will give you Founder's Access to the playtest.
