Gloria Victis Reveals New Character Animations Designed By The Witcher 3 Dev
Black Eye Games has been busy reworking character combat and movement animations with the help of former Gears of War and The Witcher 3 animator Jaku Kisiel. While the rework is still in progress, Black Eye Games has decided to release a trailer showing off some of the work that's been done so far.
By the time the work is finished there will be almost 200 animations for each type of weapon. In order to implement these, the team has had to replace the player character models making them more detailed and optimizing them. Interestingly, one of the new changes to characters is the addition of a series of questions for the player to answer. These will introduce a new story aspect to the game and impact their archetype.
As a bit of a side note, Black Eye Games has also stated that the game's next update -- slated for tomorrow -- will introduce new Halloween content, including a global event, crafting workshops, and more.
