Let The Demolishing Begin! Gloria Victis Adds Guild Banners & Destructible Buildings
The medieval MMORPG dropped a patch today.
Medieval MMORPG Gloria Victis dropped a new patch today that introduces Guild Banners and destructible buildings in capturable locations.
Guild Banners give allies buffs in an area and Guild Leaders can receive 10 banners for reaching 150% of the guild activity. Banners spawn by using the item in your inventory. You can walk and run with banners but not sprint, and banners can't be carried while mounted. Banners can be dropped on the ground during a fight to provide buffs for allies and can be picked up by any other player including enemies. Banner spawns last for 20 minutes.
Destructible buildings in siege areas were also added to this patch. Wooden houses and huts can be destroyed and will spawn additional guards while active. Destroyed buildings will spawn no guards, huts will spawn one guard, and houses will spawn more guards than a hut. The team did note that in the future, defenders will be able to rebuild these houses during an ongoing siege.
There was also a little peek into what Gloria Victis is working on for the future including Guild Castles which should start getting sneak peeks soon, and a resource gathering rebalance. You can check out the full update on Steam.
