Gigantic Devs Talk About Bringing The Game Back From The Dead In First Dev Diary
It's baaaaack.
If you haven't heard, MOBA Shooter Gigantic is coming back from the dead. While I'll definitely be checking it out once it relaunches, I really don't remember being all that in love with Gigantic the first time around. I'm sure there's a fan base out there that is ecstatic right now though. It's not every day a game just comes back from nowhere like this.
Today the devs over at Abstraction Games released a video in which they talk about bringing back Gigantic, what it took, and what it will look like going forward. There will be new maps, new features, and all of the characters you loved from the original version, rolled up into a neat new Gigantic: Rampage edition.
There will also be a new tutorial, quality-of-life improvements, new AI, and maybe most importantly cross-play on all platforms. The Gigantic: Rampage edition will be buy-to-play, but there will be no microtransactions in the game. All cosmetics and items will be unlocked just by playing the game.
If you're even slightly interested in Gigantic: Rampage Edition then you should watch today's dev diary. You can watch the full video below.

Hey, two Rift posts in a week, that's a new record in recent years.

That's on top of the new year's typical hero, gadget, and trailer.

The update includes solo dungeons, a new island, and more.
I would gone to single player storyline thing, but, this really sounds good too.
The b2p is cool, if only the Guildwars franchise remembered that what they 'may of :)...started.
