Get Ready To Enter Pandæmonium, Final Fantasy XIV’s New Raid Is Here And It’s Spooky
Because you can never have enough to do.
You may not be ready for this, but Endwalker’s first raid has arrived. If you have yet to finish the main story quest, you may actually want to just shuffle along and pretend this post doesn’t exist. Don’t worry, we don’t intend to spoil anything for you, but we will provide you with the same info Square Enix has deemed okay – where to go to pick up that next quest and what requirements you must meet to enter the first part of the Pandæmonium raid: Aspodelos, and we know what some people don’t consider spoilers, others do.
To unlock Pandæmonium you’ll need to be level 90 and have completed the Endwalker quest. If you meet those requirements, head to Old Sharlayan and look for Nemjiji, who will be ready to rope you into helping with a mystery. Of course, you’ll need to have the right item-level gear for Pandæmonium. That means having an average of 565 or higher. Level 570 gear can be purchased in Raz-at-Han using the Tomestones of Aphorism.
Of course, there will be rewards for completing Pandæmonium: Aspodelos, but they will not be the normal gear drops. Rather, treasure coffers will contain tokens that can be traded for gear of the player’s choice. Players will receive one token per circle of Pandæmonium: each week – which means four each week overall. Completing the Fourth Circle will earn players an unsung blade of Asphodelos (one per week) that can be exchanged for discal tomestones – which can then be traded for weapons.
As for the rest of today’s update, there wasn’t a whole lot added – and it looks like Ishgardian housing has yet to unlock if you’ve been waiting on that. New Triple Triad cards have dropped, as have orchestration scrolls. On the roulette side of things, the first through fourth circle of Asphodelos have been added to both mentor and normal raid duty roulette. Aspodelos has also been added to Stone, Sky, and Sea.
For those still leveling classes, good news. Experience gained from completing 81 through 89 dungeons has been increased so that should make things a bit easier.
There have been a few goodies added, specifically, new gear and new minions. What the new minions are has not been specified in the patch notes. The new gear can be seen there, however. It’s very flow-y.
