Get Ready, Tarisland’s Closed Beta Kicks Off In A Few Weeks
Well, that didn’t take long.
If we can say anything about Tencent’s Tarisland, it’s that unlike a lot of other Eastern-developed MMORPGs, we didn’t get stuck speculating for years about whether or not the game would actually be making its way to the West. In fact, the company has already set a date for the game’s first global beta test – on both Android and PC.
The test is scheduled to drop on June 27, at which time Android players in Brazil, Canada, the Philippines, and the UK – as well as PC players from around the world – will be able to participate. During the test, players will be able to choose between one of seven character classes, explore three regions, and experience their related storylines and quests.
During the test, some players may want to take part in a special event that will reward the ten-player team that manages to defeat the game’s first four dungeon bosses before anyone else. This team will earn exclusive rewards, including special titles.
To take part in the event, players will need to sign up via the game’s official site. Just be aware that you’re basically signing up for a newsletter.
