Get Ready For EVE Fanfest In 2023 Which Promises To Be The "Biggest Ever" To Celebrate 20 Years
CCP Games has picked the date and players are invited to come.
The next EVE Fanfest is already in the works. Today, CCP Games announced that the annual event is scheduled for the weekend of September 21-23, 2023. As with all EVE Fanfests, this one will take place in Reykjavik, Iceland. It will feature all the things players have come to expect from the event: presentations, panels, meet and greets, and the general party vibe.
Since 2023 marks the game’s 20th anniversary, CCP has big plans for it. In fact, they’re billing it as the “biggest celebration of EVE yet.” Yes, that celebration will include the pub crawl and the Party at the Top of the World, of course.
Since the event is still a bit off, not all the details are available yet, but players can expect to find out more in the coming months. It’s also worth noting that another Fanfest-related drop will occur in the coming months. CCP teamed up with The Escapist to create a documentary on the event. This is still cooking, but a trailer is available.
Those who know for sure they want to attend the event, even without knowing all the details, are in luck. Tickets are already on sale for $159. That’s about $140 less than what they will cost after the first batch sells out. No. They didn’t say how many the first batch consists of. Tickets can be purchased here.
