Get Ready For Warhammer 40K: Darktide’s Beta, Set To Start This Month
Following Darktide’s delay comes more beta testing.
As many Warhammer 40,000: Darktide fans are aware, the game has been delayed until November 30 for PC, and a later, undecided date, for the Xbox Series X|S version. Still, that doesn't mean eager players have to wait in a drought of no content. Instead, Fatshark is offering beta sign-ups with playtests that will kick off later this month.
More follow-up tests will launch in the months and weeks leading up to the title’s new launch date. These early tests will focus on PC, but eventually, the beta will also encompass Xbox players, too. While invites will be limited, there is still no reason not to sign-up for the chance to be involved in the beta. However, an important thing to note is that players will only be able to participate in the beta once.
A delay is always an unfortunate set of events in the gaming industry, but often it does create a better game and experience for the players.
