Get Cultured With World of Warships' Third Annual Longest Night Of Museums Event
Wargaming aims to raise awareness about the work done by naval museums and heritage sites in preserving maritime history.
Are you ready for a night at the museum, World of Warships style?
The free-to-play naval warfare-themed multiplayer online game is hosting its third annual "Longest Night of Museums" event to celebrate International Museum Day. This event includes virtual tours of 19 naval museums around the world, panel discussions, and exclusive Twitch drops. There will be special guests and interactive quizzes with in-game prizes too.
Wargaming’s event aims to support and raise awareness about the work done by naval museums and heritage sites in preserving maritime history. The virtual tours will cover museums in various countries, including Croatia, Brazil, Netherlands, Chile, United Kingdom, United States, Australia, and South Korea. In addition to the tours, there will be a documentary screening and discussion, as well as bonus codes for players.
The game itself has a large collection of historically accurate ships and often collaborates with maritime museums and heritage sites across the globe. Check out the Longest Night of Museums event on May 18 from 10 AM until May 19 at 3:30 AM (UTC). It can be watched for free on Twitch, YouTube, and Steam.
