Get Black Desert Online For Free By Speeding Through Your Seven-Day Trial
Do you love Black Desert Online? More appropriately, do you think you'll love Black Desert Online? If so, you can get a copy of the game for free just by reaching a certain milestone in the game during your seven-day free trial -- but it's going to take some time and effort.
From now until Oct. 17, new players -- or at players willing to make a new account -- can sign up for the seven-day free trial of Black Desert Online and earn a copy of the Starter's Package for the game, which retails for $9.99. All you have to do is complete your character's Awakening quest, which is available at level 56. Doing the math, that's an average of eight levels per day. No problem for you hardcore grinders, right?
While it's not a leveling boost -- in fact, it's very much the opposite, in that you could pay to level slowly or level quickly for free -- asking your players to hammer through your content at breakneck speed might as well be telling them that that introductory stuff doesn't matter: "The real game is the endgame," and so forth. Since the promotion targets new players specifically, it ensures that will be the message they receive during their first taste of the game. Me, I'd rather spend the 10 bucks and take my time to enjoy the game, but to each their own.
