Genshin Impact's Xbox Series Version To Launch Alongside Version 5.2 Update
HoYo is celebrating with the traditional glider skin.
On November 20, HoYoverse will drop the Genshin Impact Version 5.2 update “Tapestry of Spirit and Flame”. The update will continue the Traveler’s adventures in Natalan where more mystery awaits. Today, the developer hosted the Special Program highlighting everything players can expect from the new update. We’ve shared it below.
Version 5.2 is a special update in one way. Those who have been waiting for the action RPG to be made available on Xbox Series X|S no longer have to wait, as the console launch is included in the update. To celebrate the occasion, a set of glider wings in the Xbox green and white is being introduced. These will be made available to players on Xbox as soon as Version 5.2 launches and will be permanently available to claim. Those on other platforms will also have the opportunity to add the wings to their collection, but the time to do so will be limited. They’ll roll out on other platforms on January 1 as part of the Version 5.3 update and will be removed with the Version 5.4 update on February 12.
Xbox member bundles are also being introduced. These little bundles of goodies will be available for Xbox players to claim with each version and include things like Intertwined Fate, Primogems, and Mora.
If you’re a current player planning on playing the Xbox version of the game, you may want to hit up the Cross-Save FAQ. This addresses any issues players may have linking their HoYoverse and Microsoft accounts.
