Genshin Impact Version 2.4 Drops Tomorrow, Get Those Wishes Ready

As promised, Genshin Impact is kicking off 2022 with the release of the game’s next update, Version 2.4 Fleeing Colors in Flight. This update was revealed earlier during the last Special Program and will focus mostly on Liyue-related content, although that content will be rolled out throughout the month.

With this update, players will have a chance to obtain two new characters who will be introduced through a story about the rebuilding of Ningguang’s Jade Chamber. Both characters will be available in event wishes at the beginning of the update. The disciple of the adepti Shenhe is the five-star focus of “The Transcendent One Returns”, while the four-star Yun Jin will appear in both Shenhe’s event wish and that of everyone’s favorite brooding demon hunter Xiao. Later, on January 25, players will once again have a chance to pick up Zhongli or Ganyu in their respective event wishes.

As it’s the beginning of the year, that also means the return of the Lantern Rite Festival and its related events. There’s also a new event featuring one of the Tanuki of Inazuma. That means more gifts and useful items will be available for players to pick up.
