Genshin Impact Version 1.4 Arrives This Thursday, And There's Fried Chicken
Okay, really there's a fried chicken recipe... which... seems a little odd. I don't think I've ever seen a chicken in Genshin Impact. Lots of ducks though.
That said, the Version 1.4 update arriving on March 17, features the "Outland Gastronomy" Daily Login Event. This is apparently the western version of the KFC crossover event that took place in China, as the art does feature Noelle and Diluc in their KFC uniforms. There are no codes for KFC wings here. (Rumor has it we may still get them at some point.) Instead players are looking at a 7-day login event offering a total of 300 Primogems, 50,000 Mora, 8 Hero's Wit, and 2 recipes: Exotic Gourmet and Golden Fried Chicken.
Of course, this being Genshin Impact, that's not the only event players have to look forward to. There are also the new "Hangout Events" offering players a chance to spend quality time with Barbara, Noelle, Chongyun, and Bennett. These are story quest events. So, unlike some of the others you don't have to worry about missing out on them.
And, of course, there are the three banner events, the Epitome Invocation weapon event, the Ballad in Goblets Character Event, and the Windborne Blossoms event.
Aside from the events the update also brings introduces a new Elite monster, gadgets, NPC store items, and more. This is also the update that will allow players to lower their world level -- provided they've reached level 5. This feature only allows dropping the level by one and when a change is made, players will need to wait 24 hours before changing it back.
The pre-installation option is available now for those who'd like to get a jump on things.
