Genshin Impact Special Program Teases The Conclusion Of The Natlan Storyline
And it’s time to celebrate the Lantern Rite.
Over the weekend, HoYoVerse hosted the latest Genshin Impact special program, offering players a peek at the MMO's upcoming Lantern Rite Festival and some new features. The stream also teased the end of Natlan’s war against the Abyss – whether for good or ill – and the roster of characters that will be joining the lineup when Version 5.3 drops on January 1.
Among the new content highlighted in the stream are two new features. Okay, the first isn’t exactly new. What’s new about it is that it’s now a permanent feature rather than a temporary event. That’s good news for everyone who loves the rhythm game. To keep things interesting, players can choose the performance types, techniques, and key layout. Players can even edit their own music and upload it to the Interaction Platform to share with others.
The other feature is something that will be implemented sometime after 5.3, but some players will be pretty excited to get it. Near the end of the stream, the developers announced that they will offer players a way to create their own stages in the game and share them with other. The stream doesn’t provide details on how this will work, but we’ll probably be hearing about it in the near future.
