Genshin Impact Plots Out Events For The Rest Of The Month, Some Starting Today
The second phase of Genshin Impact's Version 1.5 content is rolling out throughout the rest of May. One bit has been available for a few days now -- we already told you about the Windtrace event, which launched on the 14th. But don't worry. It's still going and will be until May 24. So you have time if you want to participate.
Several events become available today. Of course there are the obligatory banner events, the "Epitome Invocation" weapon event wish, and the "Born of the Ocean Swell" character wish event which features the new five star Cryo character Eula.
Speaking of Eula, her Story Quest -- "Aphros Delos Chapter" is permanently available starting today. To be able to access her story, players need to be Adventure Rank 40 or higher and have completed the Archon Quest "Prologue: Act III - Song of the Dragon and Freedom." Chances are you'll have managed the latter even if you're taking your time and haven't hit AR 40 just yet. (I really need to quit slacking...)
Later in the month, miHoYo is dropping more events. The first is the "Battlefront: Misty Dungeon" event, kicking off May 21. During this event, players AR 20 and higher can put together a team with selected trial characters and attempt six different trials with them. Completing the trials will earn you the normal rewards: Primogems, Hero's Wit, and level up materials. The other event, "Mimi Tomo," features everyone's favorite Unusual Hilichurl. Once again, players 20 and higher can participate. The event has two phases, the event gameplay period (May 27 - June 6), and "The Lost Hilichurl" quest (June 6 - June 8). Complete the quest and get not just the normal rewards, but also Liyue-style furnishing blueprints.
Finally, on May 31, another round of "Overflowing Mastery" kicks off. This will last until June 7, during which time players can earn double rewards when consuming Original Resin in Talent Level-Up Material Domains.

The one thing we all know about combat by now, is that every time someone thinks they've come up with the ultimate answer, the other side comes up with something that makes it far less useful.
