Genshin Impact Players Will Learn More About Khaenri’ah When Version 3.5 Hits
Kaeya goes to Sumery and Dainsleif is back.
HoYoVerse keeps rolling out the content. In fact, Genshin Impact's Version 3.5 is on its way soon and to let players know what’s coming, the developer hosted another Special Program. When the new update hits, it’ll continue the game’s story with a new Archon Quest titled Caribert. This questline will continue the search for the Traveler’s sibling in Sumeru. There will be familiar faces there not typically associated with the region. Both Kaeya and Dainsleif will show up. It should be interesting if they run into each other, what with both having ties to Khaenri’ah. Players will also find out more about the history of the Abyss Order during this quest line.
The update also brings two new playable characters to the game. Both we’ve already met - Dehya and Mika. Dehya we’ve spent a good deal of time with in Sumeru. Mika, we’ve seen a bit less of. He appeared during one of Mondstadt’s festivals. Dehya carries a Pyro vision and wields a claymore. Although, she’s not above breaking out her fists as well. Both she and Mika make great support characters.
In Dehya’s case, she will take some of the damage applied to other characters in her party – but only so much. And luckily for her, her passive talent generates HP. Plus, she comes with an exploration talent that increases the movement speed of any party members during certain parts of the day. Her Elemental skill creates a force field that deals additional pyro damage to enemies in it. And for her burst, she’ll forgo the claymore and use fists to deal more flying damage – finishing with a flying kick. Players can also find out more about Dehya in her own Story Queset: Mantichora Chapter: Act I.
Moving on to Mika, of the Knight of Favonius. He’s an unusual character in that he wields not one but two weapons – a spear and a crossbow. His elemental skill attacks enemy’s with the crossbow, while his elemental burst recovers HP for party members and creates a status effect that causes allies to recover HP when they attack an enemy.
Another character will be featured in this update. Faruzan. Players will spend time with Faruzan, learning more about her and the Akademiya.
Event-wise, there are a few new things going on. The big one is the return of the Windblume Festival in “Windblume’s Breath”. This is the Mondstadt festival focused on flowers. Players can expect to run into all the usual Monstadt suspects during the event. There will also be a special visitor, Collei. She’s discovered a mysterious prophecy book and it’s time to figure it out. Also, the rhythm game is back.
Of course, the stream also offered three limited-time codes. As always, these can be entered on the main Genshin Impact site.
Code 1: KARU3RG6NY65
Code 2: 5SRC28YNNYP9
Code 3: SB8UJ9H7NH8V
