Genshin Impact Gets Ready For Their 2.8 Livestream And Is Welcoming Back Best-Boy Kazuha
Just what are these “juicy details” that Genshin has in store?
HoYoverse is getting ready for their two upcoming special broadcasts that will take place on July 2 at 5 AM PT and 8 AM ET with the second livestream happening on the same day at 9 AM PT and 12 PM ET. Travelers can watch the live stream from Genshin Impact’s Twitch account to learn about new features, upcoming events, new characters, gameplay adjustments, and maybe even a sneak preview of Sumeru, but that is only a guess when they mentioned “juicy details”. (UPDATE: A LOT was actually accidentally leaked today by the Epic Games Store...way to go!)
Genshin Impact has been struggling recently following a delay that happened for the 2.7 Genshin Impact launch, however, it would seem that the normal scheduled livestreams and updates are back to their normal programing. Twitter has also been flooded with leaks of the upcoming region of Sumeru, but it is hard to tell just how accurate these leaks are and everything should be taken with a grain of salt.
While the 2.8 livestream is sure to bring us another summer event that will most likely take us back to the Golden Apple Archipelago, It looks like our story this time around will involve Fischl, Mona, Xinyan, and the very beloved Kazuha.
Kazuha first came to Genshin in their 1.6 update. At that time, many players decided to skip the anemo user, or perhaps they simply lost their 50/50. The hype that grew after Kazuha’s banner came and went was extraordinary, making him one of the most sought out players in the game considering how great of a support he is and how he can fit into almost any elemental team.
While it has not been confirmed that Kazuha will be on the 2.8 banner, it can be heavily assumed considering his chibi model is pictured in the Genshin Impact Special Program Announcement, and that it looks like he has a special part to play in the story surrounding the upcoming update. If Kazuha does come on banner, players who want him, or want more constellations to their already acquired Kazuha, will probably want to do so now, as there is no telling when he will return. Plus, with only more and more characters being added to the game, even with the occasional double banner, it is better to grab the characters now.
