Genshin Impact Fans Can Win Up To $5000 In TikTok Effect House Challenge
Make TikToks with effects based on Genshin characters or locations for a chance to win cash.
It’s not always worth covering little contests held by game companies. But the way we figure it if there’s a chance one of you could walk away with $5,000 in cash, why not let you know about it? And, even if you don’t win first prize, there’s still a chance to win anywhere between $500 and $3000. So, for you TikTok creators out there, it’s worth the effort.
In this case, the contest is the Genshin Impact Effect House Challenge. Effect House, a (currently in beta) AR effects app that ties into TikTok teamed up with HoYoVerse to create the challenge, which runs from now until February 28. Entrants are tasked with creating TikTok effects using Genshin Impact elements. That can be characters, the environment, or general game elements. Effect House even supplies some assets to help people get started.
As mentioned above, even if you don’t win First Place and the $5,000, there’s still a chance to get something. A total of 33 cash prizes will be given out. The prize breakdown is as follows:
- 1st Place (1 Winner): $5,000
- 2nd Place (1 Winner): $3,000
- 3rd Place (1 Winner): $2,000
- Runner Up (10 Winners): $1,000
- Honorable Mention (10 Winners): $500
- People’s Favorite (10 Winners): $500
Details on how to enter, as well as information on which regions are eligible to take part in the contest, can be found on the Effect House site. So, if you’re interested, check the contest out and take part. And if you win the $5,000. Let us know.
