Genshin Impact’s 3.0 Launches Today Introducing The New Region Of Sumeru
The time has finally come to uncover the secrets of Sumeru.
Genshin Impact’s highly anticipated 3.0 launch is finally here later today (depending on time zone) bringing with it a brand new region to uncover, new enemies, new artifacts, and most importantly, new characters.
Genshin’s newest region is Sumeru, introducing the final elemental reaction into the game, Dendro. Before players take off on their new adventure they will need to make sure to have completed all the previous Archon Quests if they would like to continue with Genshin’s lengthy story. To access Sumeru’s lush city they will need to first make their way through a thick rainforest before they come face-to-face with the first town, the Divine Tree.
Since Sumeru’s initial livestream, Genshin Impact’s Twitter has introduced even more new characters that will soon enter the game like the Hydro spear-wielder Candace alongside the Anubis Electro spear-wielder Cyno. With all these new characters, at least F2P players can relax knowing they get Collie for free. She will be vital as a player's first Dendro character besides the Traveler.
Players who are excited to learn more about the deep lore of Sumeru, The Dendro Archon, or even the new 5-star Tighnari–the Forest Watcher in Avidaya Forest–can make sure to read more about Genshin Impact’s 3.0 special program here.
