Gear Up Mercs: LEAP's Second Playtest Is Dropping Later This Week, And This One Is Fully Open
No game keys required!
The fast-paced multiplayer first-person shooter from Blue Isle Studios, LEAP, is kicking off its second-ever playtest on May 6 at 10:00 a.m. until May 7 at 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time. Also, there's no big sign-up with limited keys so you can pop in after requesting access to the game on May 6.
Whether you're fighting for the United Earth Defense Coalition or the rebellious Exo-Terrans, players will be able to jump into arenas with up to 60 players under their chosen faction in the playtest. Additionally, you can wear an exosuit with abilities that fit your play style, ranging from support to sneaky DPS. And you can choose your modes of transportation, such as a sick hoverboard or a mechanical moose that veers into battle.
In order to get to all the fun, you'll need to request access via Steam starting on May 6. Once you hit the "request access" button Blue Isle Studios will give you access to the game shortly and you'll be on your way. They did say you should "update your game prior to May 6," though, so knock that out before jumping in. However, you can request an even earlier key from their Discord server that will include the best of the best from the Nitrado community.
Are you LEAPing into this second playtest on May 6? Let us know your thoughts in the comments! You can review the announcement via LEAP's Steam page.
