GAMESCOM 2024: Marvel Rivals Locks In December F2P Launch, All Heroes Unlocked At Launch And Beyond
Captain America and Winter Soldier shown off...with a bit of a tease at the end of the new trailer.
Anyone waiting on a hero shooter replacement to fill in for any shortcomings Overwatch 2 has have likely been watching NetEase's Marvel Rivals announcements over the last few months. While the gameplay feels very familiar to fans of the genre, the IP alone is sure to bring in a whole host of players that were maybe never interested in other hero shooters.
Noobfridge tried out a recent beta and posted a little Gameplay Action video just showcasing his first few matches. As for an official First Look video, well, it won't be long before that's up. At today's Gamescom Opening Night Live presentation, not only did Marvel Rivals reveal a video showcasing the addition of Captain America and Winter Soldier to the game's roster, but they finally unveiled a release date.

You'll be able to jump into the F2P game starting on December 6th on Steam, Epic Games, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Not only will the game be free-to-play, but the team also announced that all heroes will be unlocked at launch and beyond.
