GAMESCOM 2022: Tower Of Fantasy's First Expansion Announced, New Vera Zone Revealed
The new cyberpunk-themed area releases this fall.
Tower of Fantasy only launched recently and there’s already more on the way. At Gamescom today, Level Infinite and Hotta Studio announced the game’s first expansion, Vera. The expansion adds a new cyberpunk-themed region by the same name. It will introduce new tech-heavy environments, mounts, monsters to fight, and more.
The primary area players will be spending their time in a place known as The Desert Gobby. It’s mostly an irradiated wilderness, but that’s not all that’s there. The cyberpunk hub of Mirroria can be found there as well. This area is hot and dry and has a space-time dimension that can’t be calibrated. It also can’t obtain original energy, meaning the levels are decreasing.
A new zone means new characters, so players will meet Frigg, a soldier of precision and one of the Angels of Clemency. Her body has been modified into living metal as a defense against radiation. She uses her abilities and skill to carry out the commands of the Sage, leading the Heirs of Aida’s forces, or going alone.
