Killer in the Cabin

Today, independent developer Games People Play announced multiple updates for their multiplayer, social survival game Killer in the Cabin. From the quality of life changes to more accessibility for players, there's a good bit of content coming today.

Killer in the Cabin allows you to play as a member of a group of survivors from a bus crash in the remote Norwegian mountains, where communication between players is a must to survive. You'll gather a list of supplies, discover shelter, and share food when times get tough. The twist is that there's a secret killer in the group; who is waiting for their moment to kill, sabotage survival efforts, or make everyone work against each other.

During a 15-minute session, you'll play with up to eight players in Killer in the Cabin, making it the perfect game to deceive and have fun with your buddies at home. The new update includes the highly requested server browser system, allowing players to join public game lobbies or create their own. Prospective killers can work on their deception and killing skills by playing against AI bots now, prepping themselves to play against live players. If you're not interested in using your microphone during a game session, there's also a text chat mode to make the game way more accessible.

The game is currently available on Steam via Early Access, with the update slashing down its price to $4.99. You can reach its page here!
